HOW DO I SUBMIT GUEST LISTS/ADDRESSES TO YOU?

I ask that Clients please use the GOOGLE SHEET templates I provide in order to submit your guest lists or addresses. These templates organize the data in the exact format I need it in.

Please ensure all files are PROOFREAD AND FINAL before submitting. Any typos/errors made by the Client may result in additional costs in order to correct.

CONTRACTS + INVOICING

To book with me, Clients must sign a project contract and pay a 50% retainer up front, with the final 50% due on or prior to the project delivery date. Orders will not be released until final payment has been made.

SOURCING MATERIALS

For certain orders, such as paper place cards or marble tile place cards, I purchase through vendors I know and trust.

If you are looking for something different than what I offer, you have options! You can either provide your own cards/tiles/etc. for me to calligraph/engrave, or I can help source options for you outside what I already offer for a sourcing fee.

The sourcing fee will be applied to your final project invoice. Please contact me with any questions: hello@maidenseptember.com.

HOW DO I GET MY MATERIALS TO YOU?

I will coordinate with you for drop-offs/pickups.

If you are providing the materials (i.e. place cards or envelopes for addressing, etc.), then Client must supply 15% extra as ink blots and mistakes happen!

DELIVERY TIMELINES

General timelines start below. Due to the custom nature of calligraphy services, all project delivery timelines are dependent upon: 1) the nature of the project/request, 2) current pipeline of orders, 3) do not include shipping/delivery.

Please factor in shipping time when placing your order. I will provide you with a delivery ETA with all proposals and project contracts.

Custom Calligraphy Projects: 1-2 weeks
Wedding Calligraphy: 6+ weeks

SUBMITTING EXAMPLES OF WORK

Do you have an example of a project you’d like me to do for you? Great! I will gladly use your example as a guideline, and you can point out elements of the example you really like.

However, I will not copy or reproduce another artist’s exact work.

My hope is that you’re coming to me because you admire my style of calligraphy and my artistry. If you feel strongly about having the exact same project reproduced, please try reaching out to the original artist in your example.

Most creative business owners believe in community over competition and won’t plagiarize other artists’ work. Thank you for understanding!

PRICE QUOTES + PROPOSALS

All price quotes and proposals are good for 30 days from date of receipt, and are based on the details of the project provided by the client/prospect at the time the quote was requested. Additional design requests may increase costs. Please contact me with any questions: hello@maidenseptember.com.

RUSH REQUESTS

Any delivery time requested faster than the timelines outlined above or in my proposals/contract will be subject to a rush fee regardless of quantity or complexity.

Rush fee rates start at 50% of project cost and can increase due based on requested delivery and complexity of requests.

Rush fees will be communicated with client prior to invoicing and must be paid prior to project delivery.
